Day Eight: 7 Minutes a Day


Just read Philippians 4. Verse 8 really stuck out to me. It says, "Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things."


I don't know about you but I am my own worst critic. If I let it, my mind immediately starts drifting off into pessimism, which then opens the door for the lies of Satan to creep in. "You're not good enough." "This will never work." "You're life doesn't make a difference." And the list could go on and on. This verse reminds me (as Col. 3 says) to set my mind on things above not on earthly things. After all, right thinking leads to right living.
