Just read Philippians 2. Verses 3 and 4 really stood out to me... "Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too." How many times do I consider other people when I make a decision? How often do I look at things from someone else's point of view? How many times have I been guilty of waiting to talk instead of truly listening to the person I am having a conversation with? How many times have I been guilty of thinking I was better than the people I have been around? How often have I tried to impress others and highlight myself instead of Jesus Christ? Lord, please develop in me the humility that Jesus had.
